Snapper Transponder Immobilzer E-Lock
The contactless transponder immobilizer is very easy to retrofit. It offers the possibility of interrupting electrical consumers such as the starter motor, fuel pump or other circuits relevant to operation. The immobiliser is simply connected to the cable to be interrupted. The system arms itself 20 seconds after the ignition is switched off.
The transponder technology detects when you approach your motorcycle with the small transponder. The immobilizer is disarmed without contact within a radius of 5 metres. If the transponder chip is not in the vehicle, the system interrupts the circuit. It is then no longer possible to continue driving. The engine can only be started if the transponder is recognised.
A CR2032 button cell supplies the transponder chip with power for several years, depending on use.
